Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector Delivers Fresh Viewing Experience

This CES, Sony announced that they have developed a one of a kind, 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector that features highly stylized furniture-like designs.

With space compatibility feature, it can be easily placed anywhere in the walls and can project a 4K Ultra High-Definition image which can go up to 147-inches. This means that we can now turn unused places in our homes, for awesome viewing experiences.

As technology is evolving, the quality of entertainment is also most certainly going up with higher resolution images and even better sound quality that are being delivered even through high-speed broadband.

So now, with Sony’s new offering, users can experience users will now be able to enjoy visuals without being restricted neither by frames nor boxes.

With this, movies, video games, sports and photographs will now be endowed with an air of increased realism by changing a wall into an entertainment window.

The new projector does not require a tool or even construction for the equipment to be installed and operated.

All you have to do is to set it next to a wall and then plug in, sit back and enjoy. The result will be high quality, 4 K ultra images.

Unlike any other projector, already in the market, this one is designed to save space and yet set up an entertainment console.

It can also display the current video content services from IP, satellite or cable providers along with 4K content sources like Video Unlimited 4K, Netflix and 4K content shot on Sony’s Handycams.

This one will be out in the US markets only this year for approximately $30,000 to $40,000. A prototype of the device is being showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show. What do you think of it?
