Flip is in, it seems. From the Sony labs comes the latest , and it is called the Vaio Flip 11a. What you would get to encounter is a notebook that sports an 11.6 inch, full HD display that actually flips backward to transform itself into a slate.

All you need to do is to you push the display back by 180 degrees over a hinge. The screen will them look away from the keyboard  and fold the lid down to reveal a tablet.

A truly out and out convertible, the Vaio Flip 11a sets itself apart from others of its ilk by allowing you to switch from tablet to laptop mode.  A pressure-sensitive digital pen adds the support element to your sessions with the device.
