When the curtains go up on the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month, one counter you wouldn’t want to miss would be Meizu’s.

The mobile maker from China is all set to make its much spoken about foray into the North American market place in 2014. And, that makes the upcoming edition of CES significant for them.

What we might get to see and play with at the Meizu counter would most probably be two configurations of its upcoming Meizu MX4 smartphone models.

Rumors suggest that one of these might be a high-end version that would come sporting a 2K resolution. And, the other would be a 1080p display sporting variant.

While the higher end variant could sport a 5.5 inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the buzz is that the trimmed down version could have a 5-inch display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Not just that, the lower end variant might also hide under the hood a MediaTek processor with LTE 4G onboard.

The Pro version in the meantime will boast LTE support. There is however no word on what kidn of processor it would carry along. Some people out there wish for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, though.

These are just grapevine buzz, and the real stuff would come clear as the CES run up beginsin a few days. Stay cool.
