Dell Chromebook 11 Aims at Schools; Might Sport an Affordable Tag

December 12, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The new Chromebook 11 from the Dell stables is out, and it looks like the device  would pose an extra bit of competition for similar devices that HP and Asus have already made and presented before us.

Aimed primarily at educational institutions, the Dell Chromebook 11 might soon have siblings too that would aim at a wider audience.

When we say the device is similar to the HP device of the same genre,  that does not exactly mean that  the specs are also similar.  As the company has made it mainly for the schools that aim at affordable computing avenues , it is likely that the device might come with a wallet friendly price .

The device has arrived and will soon reach the targeted audience. But as of now, not much has been revealed about the specs and features. All we know about on the specs front is that it would sport an 11.6-inch display, 1.4GHz Celeron processor, 10-hours battery life, and 16GB solid state drive.

We guess the pricing options are also being mulled over. Let’s wait to know more from the company on the Chromebook 11.
