Samsung Smartphone with Three-Sided Display in the Works

Smartphone giant Samsung is all set to release their latest innovation, a smartphone with a curved screen that wraps around the sides.

This means that the users will be able to see messages at an angle even in the sides, according to LA Times .The device is supposed to hit the markets during the second half of 2014.

Samsung released its Galaxy Round, the first phone the company released with a curved screen, in October. Galaxy Round comes with a slight left-to-right curve, making it compatible users’ palms.

But unlike the new upcoming device, the Galaxy Round does not wrap around the edges. Samsung has set off with the viewed curved screens as a mean to reinvent innovations in smartphones and to avoid a down phase as far as sales are concerned.

Samsung’s main market rival, South Korean based LG did not waste much time on jumping into the new space. It is indeed releasing a curve-screen device, LG G Flex.

So let’s wait to see how this one comes up.
