Many Appearances of Moto G Mid-Range Smart Phone Make Us Wait for It

November 5, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

If you would remember, by the end of last week, we had told you about a leak that dropped a visible hint on the upcoming Moto G.

This leak, which came about in the form of a screen grab, had clearly brought to the fore the existence of the Moto X. For those who came in late, let us also tell you that rumors of such a device had made the rounds at the time of launch of the Moto X.

This new beauty was supposedly a variant of the X, and the difference was that it would come sporting a low cost tag. And the name then rumoured was Motorola DVX.

The name now is Moto G and the device will offer dual SIM capabilities. The point of attraction indeed is the low cost tag.

If you are looking to get a mid-range smartphone for yourself, and is equally keen on getting the best features for your money then it seems Motorola has something to make you want to wait for a while. Motorola’s Moto G has been spotted yet again, this time in GSMArena.

A picture of what could be the Moto G has been made visible and the device comes with  a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 edge-to-edge HD Gorilla Glass display with 329ppi density. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is equipped with a primary camera of 5MP and a secondary camera of 1.3MP.

As we already said,  this is not the first time that leakster websites had revealed information on Moto G.

Initially, EVLeaks tweeted a seemingly promotional picture of Moto G. Though the specifications of the product he shared through his tweets does not match GSMArena’s recent revelations.

Moto G also made a brief stint on the official Motorola website, though there was no picture, only the name Moto G appeared beside the Moto X in the navigation bar. It also had provided a link to a website  that is not a working site at present.

GSMArena puts the price of the new product at 134.95 pounds in the UK. We had also stumbled upon a purported $250 price tag for the US if you would prefer it without a contract.

All said, we are excited about the price. Aren’t you too?
