Moto G, Low- Cost Version of Moto X, Shows Up in Screen Grab

October 31, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Not long after the Moto X rolled out of Motorola stables, we were also told that there was a low cost edition in the pipeline. The name that was rumoured was Motorola DVX then.

Now we hear the low cost option is definitely coming to our midst, though with a different name.

The lower cost Moto X will bear the Moto G nomenclature and will offer dual SIM capabilities.

A screenshot posted by folks at DrodiLife  has triggered these notions and discussions. Though the link to the page that was supposedly detailing the Moto G has been removed  (at the time of writing this) soon after the screenshot was posted, we need to believe that the device is sure to come soon.

Going by the rumors, the Moto G might come with a 4.5-inch LCD display powered by Motorola’s X8 Computer System.

Even as we go hunting for more details, they seem to be hardly showing up. So we need to be patient till something comes up regarding the device from the company.

It is expected that the Moto G might sell for around $250 without a contract, when it finally arrives. The dual SIM capability is what we need to be satisfied with as for now.

We are willing to wait ’till more details flow in. As and when that happens, you will be kept informed. Stay with us.
