Microsoft Surface Pro Models Get a $100 Price Cut

October 25, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

You had wanted to own a Microsoft Surface Pro, but the price was a challenging factor. Here comes a deal for those fans of the tablet who always wanted one for themselves.

Microsoft has snipped the price the original Surface Pro model by $100. It is a known fact that most of the units had disappeared already from the Pro product range, but for those who were eager to have one had their eyes on the racks at Microsoft Store.

So with the new price being announced , you will be able to buy a 64GB model for $699. Meanwhile, the 128GB will sell for $799, and the 256GB variant will cost $999.

We know you are too excited about the 256GB variant when we say this. But then, closer look at the Microsoft Store reveals that the model can’t be found anywhere there. May be you could find it elsewhere.

If you would remember, we had seen a price cut for the Surface Pro by $100 back in August this year. With the company going for a similar move again, we guess the Microsoft wants to attract buyers by the dozen at its stores.

So if you are a resident of the US or Canada, you can now go for the machine you always wanted to own. Potential customers in other parts of the world will have to wait for the offer to come their way. We don’t know when that is going to happen.
