Jaguar Car Inc.’s latest sports car dubbed F-Type will definitely excite you at first glance.

The F-Type Jaguar, believed to be a successor to the iconic Jaguar E-Type, is a two-seater sport car that combines both the aspects of engineering and technological excellence. Moreover, it packs beauty and power.

While making the Jaguar F-Type, the automaker has focused on three core features – performance, agility and maximum driver involvement. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type is available in different colors, including salsa red.

The Jaguar F-Type vehicle comes in two versions  – supercharged 3.0 LV6 and the supercharged 5.0 L V8. The Jaguar F-Type V8 S Petrol includes a high powered 495 hp engine and comes with superb aerodynamics to achieve elegance and luxury.

This model attains a top speed of 300 km/h and will reach from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The V6 engines come with 380 horsepower.

The vehicle can be lifted up or kept down to the level of the boot. The front end of the vehicle is equipped with large central grille opening and headlights, which give a lovely look to the car.

The cabin is covered with a simple light weight soft fabric top and it can lower or raise itself in seconds at speeds up to 30 mph. This fabric roof top, gives several advantages to the vehicle. It is light weight, so that it improves packaging and also helps to minimize the vehicle’s center of gravity to deliver greater sporting agility.

This rag top also provides weight efficiency and doesn’t take much space in the vehicle’s trunk. However, the thick multilayered roof fabric blocks both wind and the vehicle’s noise.

Apart from the roof, the Jaguar F-Type also uses some other excellent features like the door handles. Door handles of the F-Type are sunken into the body for a smooth profile. Inside the cabin of the vehicle, the center vents for the HVAC system emerge out of the dashboard when the vehicle is on.

You can see climate control knobs along with integrated LED displays, so that you can control the temperature. The automaker has simplified the basic process for picking a comfortable temperature, by simply taping the controls.

An 8-inch color touch screen is provided at the front and center in the dashboard, just below the motorized HVAC vents, which serves as the command hub for the navigation systems.

The vehicle supports Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio streaming along with standard USB and iPod connectivity. It also offers a 3.5mm analog auxiliary input, a CD/DVD player and AM/FM radio.
