It is a well known fact that Samsung never follows a calendar to release its smartphones. So, right now, we are unable to confirm a rumor, which says that the Galaxy S5 will debut on March 2014.

We hear the upcoming Galaxy S5 smartphone will be introduced in March 2014 and will start shipping from April 2014.

Though a few rumors in the past had suggested that the Galaxy S5 handset will be released at next year’s Mobile World Congress scheduled for February, no confirmation had come about.

It is expected that Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone will undergo a huge design change, as a majority of Samsung customers have complained about the cheap plastic body of the current Galaxy devices.

If the company listens and gets into action, the upcoming Galaxy S5 will have a classy look and body, just like iPhones.

We have been also hearing rumors suggesting that the upcoming Galaxy smartphone will include a 64-bit processor, similar to the iPhone 5S.

The Galaxy S5 will be a powerful handset, as it would pack a 16-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It is said that the S5 would hold a 16 megapixel camera and come with Sharp’s new screen technology and IGZO screen display.

The much-hyped current flagship Galaxy S4, which launched in March, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM.

Though Samsung has managed to sell over 20 million units in the first three month, it is estimated that the device failed to achieve major success as its predecessors have.
