Oppo N1 Smartphone Sports Rotating Camera Module

All of you out there would agree with us when we say the smart phone market has touched saturation stage. We have already seen, examined and played with numerous handsets that boasted features galore.

Even as the marketplace gets crowded, here comes yet another innovation with absolutely awesome smart features.

Chinese handset maker Oppo has announced its new smart phone model, with a rotating camera module. The flagship Android smart handset, has been christened N1, and reportedly has the world’s first rotating smart phone camera. The camera module in the device is capable of rotating up to 206 degrees.


The device features a full HD 5.9 inch display and comes with an ‘O touch panel on the rear side. You will be able to securely lock the 13 megapixel camera at any angle.

The camera of the device is its main highlight, which has a type 1/3.06 imaging module and an f/2.0 wide aperture.

The body of the device is made of aluminum alloy, which adds the beauty of the handset. The capacitive touch screen display of the device has a pixel density of 377 ppi. The display of the handset is topped with Gorilla Glass 2.


A powerful 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 Quad Core processor is capable of doing all the tasks. The device has an Adreno 320 graphics engine and a 2 GB RAM.

The buyer can select either 16 GB or 32 GB storage option. The device also features latest Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG.

We need to expect the device to come to the market with a price tag of around $570.
