Smart Phones Galore: Look Who All Have Fallen in For the Battle

A slew of companies have announced their smart phone models this quarter. A handful of devices with a variety of amazing features  are now ready to debut in the market battlefield this fall.

Many of them claim to come with unique features too. In this scenario, it would be best to look at some of those upcoming smart phones that promise to capture everyone’s attention. Join us as we tread on the new smart phones lane.

First up is the LG G2, which reportedly is the most powerful handset ever manufactured by the company. The flagship model comes with a super fast Snapdragon 800 processor, which competes well with any of its rivals.


The phone features a 13 megapixel camera and a 5.2 inch display, which lets you view 1020p HD videos with precision. The main attraction may be the hardware buttons present in the back side of the phone, which the company believes will be accepted by the users.

The handset sports a price tag of $199.99 on a contract and without a contract you will have to pay $603.99.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a 5.7 inch full HD phone that comes after the success of its predecessors in the Note series. The handset is powered by a 2.3 GHz processor and 3 GB of RAM.

The 4G LTE connectivity option available in the smart phone ensures high speed data connection. The 13 megapixel camera with an LED flash is good in all senses.

The device will be available starting this October, and will come with a price tag of $299 with a carrier agreement. If you want to buy Note 3 without a carrier agreement, you may have to pay $703.

The Sony Xperia Z1 waterproof handset, which is expected to launch this month comes with a 2.2 GHz Quad Core processor. The 20.7 megapixel camera is a good competitor against that present in the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The 5 inch full HD display is really nice to view high quality videos. The handset will be loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The price of this great phone is yet to be announced.

The iPhone 5S, the latest unveil from Apple, comes with Touch ID fingerprint technology. The handset has the same 4 inch display of its predecessor. The display has a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels.


The smart phone is powered with Apple’s 64 bit A7 processor, and its camera comes with a 15 percent larger sensor than its predecessor’s. The 8 megapixel camera can shoot 1080p videos also. The handset has a price tag starting from $649 minus the contracts.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 5C is the much discussed handset from Cupertino, and sports a $99 price with a contract. The price of the unlocked models starts at $549.

The device will be available in the market starting September 20. The handset comes with a variety of colors, giving the buyer the option to choose his favorite color.


The Xperia Z Ultra 6.44 inch device from Sony will reach the market very soon. The phablet from the Xperia family is powered with 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

This stylish model has the thickness of just 0.26 inches, and its full HD display will be a feast while watching a 1080p video. The 8 megapixel camera is awesome, and the device is loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

The handset also sports a handful of features such as Bluetooth, NFC, Wi Fi and screen mirroring. The model will be a good opponent for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
