Nokia is reportedly manufacturing a 6 inch phone with Windows operating system. If the rumors are true, the company is going to enter the ‘phablet’ market, with this alleged device code named ‘Bandit’.

The handset will be powered with a quad core processor and a 6 inch giant screen with 1080p display. According to The Verge, the new rumored phone will be the first Windows Phone with 1080p resolution.

We hear the phone will be having a 20MP camera and will launch by the end of the year via AT&T.The device is said to resemble the earlier Nokia Lumia 925. The device reportedly comes with a polycarbonate body, which is thin and light weight.

The latest move from the company may be due to the realization of the fact that the interest of buyers on phablets is warming now a days.

At present, the company is not manufacturing devices with screen size more than 4.5 inches. Recently, companies like Samsung and HTC had revealed their 6-inch devices. This also may make the company to rethink the size of the device.

According to the experts, if the rumor is true, it will be a wise move from the Finnish manufacturer. Microsoft will also make some modifications for their mobile OS for 1080p displays, according to sources. But Nokia has refused to confirm the rumor and a Nokia spokeswoman declined to comment on the rumor.
