Google handset manufacturers are now developing a new Nexus smartphone. Reports say that the next Nexus phone will be a Motorola rig, and will release in the last quarter of this year.

Android blogger Taylor Wimberly recently claimed that he got the news about the Motorola’s Nexus smartphone release in the final quarter of this year.

Google is expected to release new versions of Nexus devices later this year, and now we can expect the rumor may come true. After buying Motorola earlier, the Google plan makes sense that its subsidiary would build a Nexus smartphone. After the release of Moto X , tech experts have noted that Motorola will be the best choice to develop the next Nexus smart phone.

Earlier, Nexus smartphones were developed by HTC, Samsung and LG. VentureBeat recently reported quoting that Google is handing off the right to release their next Nexus edition to Motorola, recently owned by the search engine giant.

The Korean manufacturer recently released Moto X at a New York program. The handset was little disappointing, with its low resolution and with the absence of Android’s latest version OS. With the development of the new Nexus edition as the rumors are claiming, Motorola may be expecting to please customers with its next new rig.
