Google Nexus 10 Might Get Updated Without Much Delay

July 27, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Just hours after the launch of the new Nexus 7, Google’ Nexus 10 could also be getting an update soon. According to Sunder Pichai, head of Android and Chrome at Google, the new 10-incher refresh isn’t far away.

He has been heard telling WSJ to expect an updated Samsung-made Nexus 10 tablet soon.

Like the 2013 Nexus 7, the new Nexus 10 will be thinner and lighter than the current model. But it won’t have a micro SD expansion slot, as like the new Nexus 7.

With no other details provided, we need to expect the model with a later version of Android.

We can also expect Samsung to pack its new Exynos 5 octa eight core chip or may be Google will make them choose the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 mobile processor.

The earlier iteration of Nexus 10 didn’t see quite awesome success like the way the Nexus 7 did, and now with the New Nexus 7 sporting an HD display, who knows the Nexus 10 would be a hard sell.

What exactly the next generation Nexus 10 will bring along remains unclear. The starting price will be around $400. The device will be launching later this year. Watch this space
