Fiat 500 Cars Reborn as Refrigerators; to Come in Multiple Shades

Marrying style with retro can give you some amazing offspring – most of the time, that is.

Fashionable stuff takes birth in such unions and such babies often turn out to be so wonderful that you would want to keep them forever.

One recent example has just been uncovered. Before you diss this one, we would want to advise you to take a closer look at it before you like it or dump it.

Fiat, the European automobile manufacturer, has joined hands with appliance company Smeg to come up with retro refrigerators made out of Fiat 500s.

To say the least they sport excellent looks. Dipping into more details, the refrigerator has a main unit or a “chassis” that comprises the classic Fiat 500 rides.

The cars have been hacked off  at the front end  and guts removed, so as to convert the  Classic Fiat to retro looking, perfectly functional refrigerators.

The refrigerator can be opened and closed the same way as you open and close the car hood.

This rare modified refrigerator comes with an instrument panel found in the original Fiat 400 and bears the name Smeg 500.

This Fiat cooling machine is expected to reach people soon with shades of white, red and green. All we need to know is on the pricing.

Given an option, would you buy one? Or won’t you?
