Sony Xperia M Looks at Q3 Release; Looks a Stunner

Those who swear by the high end Xperia Z device may not find this exciting. But then, Sony doesn’t want to disappoint mid range customers.

That could be the reason why a new mid range handset has now emerged from the company’s stables.

The device, christened Xperia M is indeed a smartphone, but with a mid range profile.

It wouldn’t be right to categorize it along with the Xperia Z, the Sony flagship. But then, the mid range beauty does have its share of awesomeness.

Quite a pretty device, the Xperia M has been designed to make it fascinating to the core. Sony seems to have borrowed some design elements from the Z and ZL models to make the M quite alluring. The thin form factor and the angle edges prove exactly that.

The new Sony Xperia M comes with a dual-core processor, and sports a 5 megapixel snapper. A 4-inch LCD screen boasts resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, and the screen real estate houses an LED notification light. The notification lamp has been programmed to beam different colors depending on the nature of the alerts to the users.

Quite handy and perfect for a budget customer, the Xperia M isn’t a rugged device though. But then with a phone that is quite a looker, no one will attempt to use it without care, right?

We need to wait for the third quarter to lay our hands on the device.
