Apple iPhone 5S Rumored to Come Packing Twice as Many Pixels

There have been plenty of rumors about the upcoming Apple iPhone 5S. Latest grapevine buzz claiming that iPhone 5S will pack 1.5 million pixels, twice as many pixels than the iPhone 5.

According to the Chinese site Wei Feng Network, the new iPhone would have a much narrower bezel and the iPad mini like design.

However, the display size of the upcoming device will remain 4 inches as in earlier rigs, but Apple is planning to double the number of pixels on the screen.

If this is true, then the iPhone 5S will have a brand new display, as Apple will double the pixel count from 730,000 to 1.5 million.

With the success of smartphones like HTC One and Samsung Galaxy SIV, Apple too needs some thing special and unique than a better camera and faster processor.

May be this thought has compelled the iPhone maker to increase the pixel quantity of the device by twice.

However, the S version of iPhone 5 is as yet a rumor. It is expected that Apple is bringing a minor update to the current iPhone5 device in this September. Well, the rumor mills also suggest a refreshed UI for iOS.
