The sporting company has made a football that houses its own app. The app helps track data regarding speed, rotation, direction and distance of the ball kicked.

In short, it gives a complete scan of ball movement. It comes with a range of sensors, though all the specs are still to be revealed.

The new ball is designed with goal line tech in mind. But since FIFA has been slow in adopting this tech, Adidas has turned to use it just for training. We wonder when such innovations will roll out onto the soccer fields rather than just being confined to the training arenas.
