Sony 13-inch Vaio Duo PC Passes Via FCC Gates

A new laptop from Sony has recently arrived at the FCC with a model number SVD132A14L. However, Sony has not officially announced plans for this device.

Leaked documents suggest that it would be a larger model of Sony’s Vaio Duo 11. The reports say that Sony is currently working on a Vaio Duo 13 model and it might have passed FCC scrutiny.

According to leaked information, the Vaio Duo 13 would sport a 13-inch display and will have a backlit keyboard, HDMI and output port.

The device will also support a capacitive touch-screen for finger input along with active digitizers. It will also support pressure-sensitive input from a digital pen.

Since, the device has a larger 13-inch screen, it would have a larger keyboard. Rumors suggest that Sony has included a touchpad below the keyboard.

On the connectivity front, the device will have support for 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. It is also said that the battery of the device can last up to 10 hours.

The Sony Vaio Duo 11 is a Windows 8 tablet that comes with a slide-out keyboard. You can use this device either as a tablet or notebook. And most importantly, the keyboard is attached to the device.
