Highlighting its intention of offering a complete high-end smartphone,  ZTE has officially unveiled its Grand X2 In Intel-powered smartphone in Monaco. Set for release some time this autumn in Europe, one attraction about this device is the hardware found under its hood – a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 2 GHz processor.

This apart the rig holds 8 GB of in-built memory. You can also make use of the microSD slot for expanding space up to 32 GB.

The new ZTE baby also boasts 1 GB of RAM, a 4.5 inch display with HD 1280 x 720 resolution and comes powered by Android Jelly Bean OS.

On the imaging front, the Grand X2 In features an 8 megapixel 1080p rear camera with rapid-shot mode that is capable of up to 24 frames-per-second without shutter lag. The smart scene and facial recognition mode options are available with a real-time x2 axis stabilizer. Auto-focus, automatic flash and a 1-megapixel front camera for video chat are customary.

WiDi, wireless display sharing, and an unspecified integrated audio enhancement technology to produce high quality audio are also offered. The seamless design with soft-touch finish keeps fingerprints in check. Power juice is provided by a 2,000mAh battery.

The company has made it clear that it would be looking at a stronger performance in the smartphone market with its new ZTE Grand X2 In.

The features are now making us wait impatiently for the pricing details, which we guess would be on our way soon. Stay tuned.
