BlackBerry R10 Image Leaks; Suggests a Mid-range Version of Q10

BlackBerry has made a fresh comeback in to the mobile industry with its latest BB 10 OS and BB10 devices. The mobile maker seems to be trying hard to achieve success in the industry with their new launches.

The company had earlier released its BB10 operating system and launched the full-touch BlackBerry Z 10 handset on January 30 this year. It was then followed by another BlackBerry 10 device named BlackBerry Q10 with a QWERTY keyword.

Now, it looks like the company is working on another handset named BlackBerry R10. A picture of the new BlackBerry R10 has leaked on the web.  Going by what we get to see, the new upcoming smartphone will be available in multiple color options, such as red, white and black.

We also hear that the phone will be a hybrid (touch+QWERTY) device like the previous Q10. It will be a perfect handset for those looking for a physical QWERTY keypad.

The leaked image suggests that the handset has a plastic back, which could also mean that it could be priced lower than the Q10 and the Z10.

Probably, it would be a mid-range handset for those budget conscious customers out there.

However, until now, BlackBerry hasn’t officially confirmed the R10, but sources reveal that this handset will hit the market by the third quarter of this year.  Are you going to wait for it? Tell us why.
