HP WindsorNot Spotted in a Bunch of Leaked Pictures; Future Not Known

April 26, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Do you by any chance remember reading about the device called WindsorNot from HP? The rig looked like an unconventional gadget when it was first found somewhere on the web.

We all had dismissed the device as something similar to the HP Prime which also did a few rounds then. We didn’t give much attention to the Prime as we realized it was nothing but a color graphing calculator.

We later found out that the WindsorNot was indeed a smartphone with a unique visage. But then nothing seemed to materialize, and we thought we had forgotten all about it.

Lo, and behold now as the HP WindsorNot has arrived yet again in the form of a leak amongst a bunch of other pictures.

Looking like a full-touchscreen device, the WinsorNot is believed to be a webOS smartphone. Oh and then, webOS didn’t hold much potential thus halting the arrival of this beauty too.

The latest leak tells us that the HP WindsorNot boasts a 4-inch 800 × 480 display and is driven by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor. The device also holds 8GB of internal memory, and a microUSB port too.

Not many details have been forthcoming, but we like the design a lot. Unfortunately, we are still in the dark about the future of this once touted potential smart device. Should we wait to know more or not is what we need to decide now.
