People run the unimaginable mile to make their wedding and wedding proposals memorable! We have seen couples tying the knot up in the air, under the sea, and at any number of over-the-top settings.
The latest in the line of bizarre ( can we call it so?) wedding proposals is the story of a couple who made use of a technology-aviation combo to be husband and wife.
Here, a couple made use of a drone to good effect to make the event charming. Okay, here’s the tale. A man called Jason preferred San Francisco’s Alamo Square Park to be his perfect setting and attached an engagement ring (much to the surprise of the bride to be , Christina) to the roof of an aerial drone .
With a photographer told to record the whole event, Jason and his bride took flight and he proposed to her in mid air.
Four cameras were deployed to record the proposal, with Jason handling a Canon EOD 5D Mark II for recording the video. The photographer, Chris Geiger, was in the meanwhile capturing all the happenings on with his Canon EOS 5D Mark III.
Meanwhile, the other two cameras were fitted to the drone, the make of which is not revealed. The cameras on it were the GoPro Hero3 Black Edition, and an 18 gram 808 #16 keychain camera with a “D” wide angle lens.
If you would want to see how it all happened, here’s the video for you. Watch it and tell us if you want to call it awesome or just bizarre!
