AT&T customers who have been waiting to lay their hands on the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S4 now have a date to look forward to. Earlier during the week, the carrier had started pre-orders for the rig, but the date of shipping the devices was said to be April 30.
It now looks like AT&T will be able to send of the devices to buyers’ hands earlier than that. The AT&T Galaxy S4 product page now has put up April 23 as the shipping date. Now that’s even more alluring, right?
An advance by at least a week is something that would make customers a happy lot. The price tag remains the same as that was displayed during the earlier week.
If you are placing your order, you will need to part with $199.99 with a two-year contract for a 16GB device.
For a one year contract, you will have to pay $449.99. The colors offered are White Frost or Black Mist. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a retail price tag that reads $639.99.
The April 23 date commitment, if kept, will make AT&T customers the first buyers of the Galaxy S 4 stateside.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile is expected to start offering the S4 at its online outlets online on April 24 and at physical stores on May 1. Sprint , however, will sell the CDMA variant on April 27, and Verizon will ship the device later in May.
