Motorola X Phone Delayed Further

April 16, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Everyone is looking forward to the launch of Motorola X phone. It seems it’s going to take more time than what we thought it would take for its launch. The company hasn’t even announced a tentative date. Whatever the reasons are, it must be worth the wait, because the longer it takes, the better the specs should be.

The rumored specs of this flagship phone include a 4.8-inch high resolution screen that’s likely to be better than all other existing smart phones.

It would have been also the first commercial phone with tough sapphire glass for protection, a 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 4000 mAh battery.

But soon after these specs surfaced, a new prototype of a Motorola Android smartphone was seen online.

Reports suggested that this prototype phone was powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset and had a 4.7-inch display with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution.

The phone reportedly had a 4000 mAh battery and ran on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a few customizations done by Motorola.

The phone was supposed to have an IP57 certification making it water resistant. It did feature a Gorilla Glass 3 screen and it didn’t have any expandable memory slot.

Was this one really the X phone? No one is sure. No matter how long it takes to arrive; this phone will be something to look at as Motorola has never disappointed fans when it comes to flagship phones.
