A tablet with 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM isn’t great news these days as dozens of tables with higher specs can be spotted on the market. But if that tablet comes with an incredibly sturdy case, it is definitely news.

The latest tablet from Smart Devices, SmartQ N10, comes with an awesome case that protects it from almost all kinds of mishandling. What’s more, it can even act as a supporting structure for watching videos.

The case has been machine-tested to withstand up to 100,000 foldings. Though only 0.17 inches thick, it feels stronger than the tablets’ back panel.

The tablet has 8GB of storage, a 5MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary camera for video calling. This Wi-Fi / Bluetooth-enabled tablet is powered by a 7000 mAh battery.

The 1 GHz processor–TI OMAP 4430 dual-core–does a good job in handling multiple tasks. The tablet features an eight-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768p.

Though the pricing and availability of the tablet are not immediately known, we expect it to be reasonably priced.
