BMW and Apple are innovative giants in their respective fields and they are now moving ahead with plans for integration.

As every car lover knows, BMW apps have always made BMW cars much friendlier and safer. These aspects will now be better as iOS apps like Audible, Glympse, Rhapsody and TuneIn will be soon joining the herd. Developers are now working on it and in some mere weeks, everything’s going to be perfect.

Being the world’s largest producer and seller of digital spoken-word entertainment, Audible has over 135,000 audio programs from more than 2,700 content providers and indeed the integration with this service surely seemed the best option for BMW.

It is going to be a great treat for BMW drivers from the automotive giant. Utilizing BMW Apps’ intuitive interface, Audible customers will be able to access their library through the BMW iDrive controls and menu display.

Thanks to Audible’s temp data synchronization to the cloud, BMW drivers can always get back to where they have finished last time when they open their iPhone app once again.

In the meantime, with the Rhapsody app, users will be able to use the vehicle controls to find and listen desirable tracks as well as navigate Rhapsody’s music discovery tools, which have been specially designed for in-car use.

Glympse works like a friend finder-cum-GPS mix that will help you in finding where your friends’ cars are on the route and it comes in handy when going on even small trips. Accident rates can also be minimized as phone use will be not required while driving with this app.
