LinkMe SMS Bracelet Helps Improve Your Manners

March 9, 2013, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

For people who feel compelled to check SMSes or attend calls while engaged in conversations and yet don’t want to appear boorish, a new device called ‘LinkMe SMS Bracelet’ offers some respite.

It flashes the message or caller ID, so that with a flick of the wrist you can satisfy your curiosity without breaking the conversation. And it does look gorgeous too!

The bracelet is however not as simple as it sounds. You can configure whether you want all the messages to be shown, or just from chosen contacts. This really comes in handy if you want to read only emergency messages at that time.

The LinkMe project is led by Matt Sandy, Colin Glaum and Tim Goldburt. Following his MBA from Columbia University, Matt has built high-tech start-ups commercializing innovative technologies over the past ten years.

His experience includes over six years overseeing manufacturing, production and development of novel display applications.

The Kickstarter campaign is set at a goal of $100,000 and as of now there are 38 backers pledging an amount of $3,605.

The LinkMe app is expected to be ready in a couple of months, and adorn wrists at parties and in official meetings. This just might be the tech gadget of coming generations.
