SlashGear Yota Phone unveiled at CES 2013

Honestly, the only thing we were interested to see during Slashgear’s stay at the CES 2013 was their Yota Phone. If you don’t know about the device, it was announced last year and as it comes with a dual screen, the device won’t go unnoticed.

We had already mentioned the specifications of the Yota phone earlier and our guess was right. Even though it is not the first time we have seen a dual-screen phone, Yota has put up a great show with one HD LCD display in the front and one eInk display in the rear.

And under the hood lies some powerful hardware that promises to back up the “show”. Though the device has its share of faults, the Yota Phone is one cool phone and is a solid device.

The phone runs on a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor clocking at 1.5GHz and you also get the benefit of 2GM of RAM. If you are talking about the battery life, the Yota Phone comes with a 2,100 mAh battery, which guarantees you a pretty good battery life without compromising on performance.

We have seen some pretty impressive devices here at the Show and the Yota phone can also be included in that category, so if you are at Las Vegas we recommend you check out the device before the show ends.
