The mysterious device has been outed with some more details. HTC’s flagship Android handset, which is said to sport some high-end features, is expected to rise at the Mobile World Congress.

The handset, going by the codename of M7, will be succeeding the HTC One X, although it won’t have inside it a quad-core processor. It will, however, be the first full HD handset of the 4.7-inch category.

The M7 would be having a pixel density of 468PPI, which is higher than that of the iPhone 5. Moreover, being integrated with the SoLux display will make the M7 capable of offering more visual improvements than the previous Super LCD2, thus giving it more outdoor visibility, color accuracy and many more.

A second-generation 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor will be providing the power, and there will be 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal flash storage. It will most probably come running the Android Jelly bean, and is expected to have HTC’s love-it-or-hate-it UX enhancement, Sense 5.

The LTE-enabled device will be featuring a 13-megapixel CCD and a large f/2.0 lens. The new image sensor, Cinesensor, will give increased image quality and features like super slow-mo and video HDR.

There’s a front camera of 2-megapixel, and both the rear and front-facing camera will be capable of 1080p video recording. In the sound department, the M7 will be having a dedicated, Beats-designed amplifier, coupled with a feature called Clear Words that improves call clarity.

The smartphone will also have next-generation Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ac, which is expected to offer three times the output than those in 802.11n WLAN networks. The M7 is touted to ride Sprint and Verizon when it releases in the US.

With such high-end specifications on board, the M7 sure has the fuel to dominate the market.
