Nokia has officially pulled the wraps off its brand new low-end Windows Phone, Christened Lumia 505, the handset will be available for purchase in a few weeks in Mexico on carrier Telcel.

Nokia Lumia 505 may be termed sibling to the Lumia 510 and you can pick one either in red, pink or black when it hits the stores.

The specifications of the phone are not likely to get you excited as it has been offered as a low-end device. But being a Windows Phone device, it holds pretty much appeal indeed.

Nokia Lumia 505 sports a 3-7 inch AMOLED display that appears to be keeping Nokia standards alive. It also showcases 800 x 480 screen resolution, which is probably powered by a single core chip.

It provides you with an in-built memory of 256MB, which is not nearly enough for your data storage purposes. You will have to adjust with an external 4 GB storage in case you need more.

If you are looking to rate the camera, the Lumia 505 boasts an 8-megapixel rear-facing snapper that should be enough to quench your click away needs.

The handset holds a 1300 mAh battery, which guarantees you some extra time with your Windows Phone. The pricing details of the phone are yet to be announced, but before you make any decision, keep in mind that this phone will run only on the Windows Phone 7.5 and cannot be upgraded to the Windows Phone 8 software.
