Samsung W2013 Dual-Screen Flip Phone in Jackie’s Hands

Samsung may flaunt their wares in the market with the likes of Galaxy Note and Galaxy S lineup, but they also go way out to bring some off-the-wall products.

And they do have a section of customers who wait for these oddballs to come out.

The latest addition to their quirky line up is the Samsung W2013, which is a dual-screen flip phone. Flip phones have almost faded out since the past couple of years, and the company might be bringing the style back on, tied in with some cool specs.

The dual-screens are 3.7-inches and have WVGA resolutions, which are pretty good. For power, they have installed a 1.4GHz quad-core processor inside the body, and that’s coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The device will carry an internal memory of 16GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. As for shooters, there’s an 8-megapixel HD rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

And to round it off, the phone will be running on Android 4.0 with the company’s TouchWiz. Now, that’s an impressive set of specifications aboard a stylish form-factor.

All this awesomeness would obviously come at a price, and don’t be surprised if it blinks up around $3000. The figure alone would be enough to turn away the average customer, but then Samsung is endorsing the phone with a strong face.

It’s none other than Jackie Chan who is gracing the Samsung posters for this little gadget. Now, is Jackie enough to make you go buy this boy?
