Emirates Airline is raising their well known standards to ensure peerless customer service by providing HP ElitePad 900 Windows 8 device to their cabin crew members. In 2004, in an effort aimed at effective in-flight communication and customer relationship management, Emirates had implemented Knowledge Driven Inflight Service (KIS) integrated devices for the pursers. With the release of the Windows 8 platform, they have gone a step further and adopted that with HP business tablets to the crew.
The KIS application they have created for the Windows 8 will provide all the necessary information about the crew member on the flight so that the purser can make use of better team work with every journey.
Pursers will be able to brief crew staffers to offer help in the personal requirements of customers with satisfactory service. Feedbacks from customers can be transferred to the headquarters immediately at the end of flight.
Further, crew member can use the KIS app for in-flight upgrading to premium classes.
The Windows 8 interface and security features help them choose the platform and so it has replaced iPads that served the purpose earlier.
The HP ElitePad 900 has been built as a light weight business machine with long battery life. The features are also best suited for long flights.
The HP ElitePad 900 was announced in October and will be available for purchase by January next.
