Blue Microphones has unveiled Spark Digital, the world’s first condenser mic for the iPad. The new innovation comes sporting USB and iPad connections for direct digital recordings to a computer or Apple iPad.

A studio grade device, it offers zero-latency headphone output and allows you to turn your iPad into a mobile audio station. Isn’t that alluring?

The device comes with features such as volume controls and instant mute. It includes facility for focus control at the push of a button, with Focus Off offering enhanced low frequency sensitivity and Focus On offering improved clarity and detail.

Spark Digital also offers an angle-adjustable desk stand and integrated shockmount to reduce noises from vibration, a Y-cable with USB, iPad and headphone connections, and Blue’s Cloud Production Bundle for audio back-up and sharing online. These apart, 25GB of storage for six months via Gobbler, is also on offer.

This could be the first studio microphone for the iPad and it returns professional results on the mobile platform by bridging the gap between analog quality and digital portability.

For those who are interested in the Spark Digital, it is now available online from Apple and Best Buy or at your local retailer for $199.99. Getting it, folks?
