The mobile world is looking forward to the launch of new Motorola devices DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD. And you know that earlier rumors had claimed that they were going to be launched only in November due to some antenna issues.

But now, we hear that an October 18 release date is being finalized for the RAZR HD . Rumor suggests that accessories for the Motorola Droid RAZR HD have started arriving in some selected Verizon Stores.

The arrival of screen protectors for the Droid RAZR HD at Verizon stores may be seen as a sign of the device launch in a few days.

Both the RAZR HD AND RAZR MAXX HD smartphones are equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4G LTE, 1GB of RAM, NFC and a microSD slot.

Other specifications include an 8-megapixel rear camera, on-screen navigation keys and a 4.7-inch 1196 x 720 resolution display with ColorBoost technology and a pixel density of 331 ppi.

On the software side, both the devices come driven by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and would feature the latest version of the MOTOBLUR user interface.

While the RAZR HD comes with 16GB of internal storage and a 2,500mAh battery, the RAZR MAXX HD sports 32GB of storage and a massive 3,300 mAh battery. The devices will come riding Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
