Steve Jobs to Get a Memoir From Mother of his Daughter

October 5, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Being the father of contemporary consumer technology, Steve Jobs is the most popular name in the tech world. But how was he in his personal life? Did he derive his passion by sacrificing emotions?

All these questions are going to get answered by Chrisann Brennan as she will be writing a memoir to the late Steve Jobs. She is the high school girl friend of Jobs and is the mother of Jobs’ daughter.

Brennan is currently writing the book which will be published by St. Martin’s Press. According to the publication, Macmillan Publishers which owns St. Martin’s Press revealed they have attained the rights to the memoir.

Her daughter’s name is Lisa Brennan-Jobs whom Steve Jobs initially denied as his own. Brennan and Jobs met at Homestead High School in Cupertino, California, where their relationship bloomed into one of Steve Jobs’ most serious ones.

The couple lived together for some time after graduation, traveled to India together and moved in together again at another house in Los Altos, California.

The memoir is speculated to have topics that will discuss Brennan’s relationship with Jobs as well as Jobs’ ‘enormous appeal, energy and drive as well as his developing ambition and ruthlessness in business and personal dealings’. Steve Jobs left the world a year ago on October 5, 2011 after having a long struggle with various diseases.
