CopyTrans Contacts Allows Easy Transfer of Contacts Between iPhone and Windows

Apple iPhone users who used windows OS on PCs might have found it difficult to sync some stuff with your desktop, especially your contacts. Well, to make things easier, a desktop option to manage your iPhone address book is finally out.

Yes, it’s true that iTunes help you back up your stuff, but then you don’t get to view or edit them all. Then there’s the iCloud synchronisation, but that is a limited browser-based contact management.

The new application, called CopyTrans Contacts, is different from iTunes and iCloud, and lets you organize, edit, back up and export your iPhone address book. Pretty neat, right?

You don’t have to waste time installing the program on your computer either, as the application is portable. All you have to do is to connect your iPhone and PC, and after letting iTunes do its work, you shut it down and start CopyTrans Contacts.

Your address book comes on display and you can do all that you need by clicking on a contact to view, and edit or add a new contact etc. you can also create and manage groups through the application.

CopyTrans Contacts also allows you to do backup and migration. So if you want to export your contacts to Android or Gmail or Hotmail, you can do so easy and quick.

The ease of use doesn’t stop there. You can import contacts in any standard format: comma-separated, Excel, Windows, and .vcf. Dragging and dropping is also an available option.

While those are the pros, we do have a couple of cons too. CopyTrans  doesn’t have a duplicate remover, nor does it allow any editing for contacts stored in iCloud. But still, it is a handy little tool and you can get it for $9.99.
