Paris Motor Show is all set to hit the roads within a week. As the wheel-crazy people are eagerly waiting for the show, details are pouring in about the exclusive new vehicle designs to be unveiled at the show.

One of them is from McLaren Automotive who is planning to unveil its P1 concept vehicle at the show.

The vehicle which is at the concept level now, is expected to be launched next year. The P1 concept shows a low-slung hyper sports car with the capacity to accommodate two passengers.

So beware, it is not for the usual folk who are looking for a Sedan or an SUV. The vehicle is almost similar to the only current model from McLaren, MP4-12C.

However, the company is not ready to reveal any of the details about the new concept car except that the new vehicle will come in a slot above the MP4-12C.

According to experts, the company may make use of similar technologies and techniques used in the MP4-12C, in the P1 concept also.

In that way, the vehicle may sport features such as aluminum tube and suspension pieces with carbon fiber panels.

It is also expected that the engineering talent to be involved in the making of P1 also will be similar to that behind the MP4-12C.

Engineers from Ricardo, an engineering firm with a major factory close to McLaren plant in Woking, UK.

Probably, the engineers at the same firm will design and manufacture the engines of this powerful sports vehicle.
