HTC Announces Trade-In Program, Offers Up to $300 for Your Old Phone

If you have been eyeing some of the good phones offered by HTC, like the HTC One X, and were not making a move because of some money issue, the company has just rolled out a new promotional program that may fit your needs.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker has made it clear that they have started a trade-in program in which customers with an old phone can get up to $300 when they replace it with a new HTC phone.

Dubbed HTC Trade Up program, the offer will not give you solid money right at the time of purchase of the new HTC phone.

You have to purchase a new HTC phone and then send the old phone to HTC. The company will check the phone to make it sure that it suits the description you have given. So, that still puts you in the situation to fork out the extra money somehow, to make the purchase.

However, the refund amount differs based on the state and model of the phone you return.

For instance, a fully functional Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx may fetch you $150 while a 32 GB Verizon Galaxy SIII may get up to $290 as a refund.

However, the offer is still interesting, since HTC One X, one of the best devices from HTC so far, costs just $99, which means you get a lot to money to keep.

Now let us know in the comments if you will be going to make use of the trade in program announced by HTC.
