Samsung Galaxy SGH-T889 Mysterious Device Leaked; Could be the Note 2

When the Galaxy Note, which was destined to hit T-Mobile, was ultimately cancelled many hearts broke.

But now they have some reason to be happy since new leaks show that the second generation Galaxy Note – the Note 2 – is almost ready to hit the T-Mobile network.

Though official sources are yet to confirm this rumor and to give us some official hint about the possible launch and prices, a leaked image of an ‘About device’, screen shot from a mysterious device has everything which can help us believe that Note 2 is heading to T-Mobile.

Interestingly, the leaked image shows that the model number of the device is SGH-T889.

This is stunningly similar to the SGH-T879 model number of the original Note. Similarly, the leak shows that the device has a display of resolution 1280 x 720 pixels.

This also confirms that the mysterious device is similar to the original Note which had a resolution of 1280 x 800.

Moreover, the newly leaked device shows that the firmware version of the platform is Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean which means that the device is brand new.

Credible sources also report that the Galaxy Note 2 on T-Mobile network will have the same Exynos quad-core processor like the original Note.

Other information also suggest that the device will hit the 42 Mbps + network of the T-Mobile, since their 4G LTE network is not yet up and running in full swing.

However, a possible launch date is still to be announced.
