Sony Xperia TX and V Benchmark Results Out

Sony fans were eagerly waiting for the IFA trade expo event to unfold at Berlin since speculations were rife that the smartphone maker will unveil some of the most anticipated devices from their stable at the expo.

Their expectations were fulfilled when Sony showed off the brand new Sony Xperia T smartphone devices.

However, now they have more reasons to be joyful since the results of the benchmark tests which feature the new devices – Sony Xperia TX and V  – have hit the tech news outlets.

The benchmark results show comparative performance of different new Xperia devices in different benchmark tests.

The results reveal that Xperia T, Xperia TX – the US version of Xperia T and Xperia V which boasts of its 4G connectivity.

As you know, the Xperia T and TX are powerful devices with their MSM86260A processor chip from Qualcomm with powerful double cores running at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz.

However, the 4G LTE enabled Xperia V has a MSM8960 Qualcomm dual core chip with a 1.5 GHz clock speed. All the three feature 1 GB of RAM.

As per the results, the sources insist that the Xperia trio have performed better than many contemporary dual core smartphones.

On a closer look, Xperia V scored a better Quadrant result of 5808 while its cousins were just a hundred points behind.

As you can see, Xperia T and TX scored high in AnTuTu benchmark. However in all others, the difference between the devices is very nominal.
