We expected the IFA trade show in Berlin will give us plenty of grapevine material about the upcoming iPhone. Now it turns out that our expectations are turning true.
A mock up of the next generation iPhone has shown up at the show. The mockup of the device was reportedly spotted at the hands of the CEO of a major case and cover manufacturer.
Interestingly, the mock up which has appeared at the IFA show is in line with the earlier rumors about the next generation of the iPhone device as far as its features and sizes are concerned.
The mock up is taller than the current iPhone devices. As the earlier rumors suggested, the mock up has a headphone jack at the bottom edge. Above all, the mock up also features a two toned back plate.
However, the sources that have spotted the mock up at the trade show were not ready to disclose the identity of the case and cover manufacturer, so we are in the dark about it.
But there is a possible clue coming out in the imminent future as other sources have indicated that cases which fit the dimensions of the mock up are already in mass production.
The sources inform that these cases will be heading to retailers in matter of a week, so that when the original iPhone 5 reaches the iPhone fans, the covers will be hotly available at the shops.
