Nokia Arrow, Phi WP8 Devices to be Unveiled on September 5

Nokia and Microsoft have inked a perfect deal. Now, they are ready to come out with a set of new smartphones which boast top class hardware from Nokia and the novelty of the brand new platform from Microsoft- the Windows Phone 8.

According to sources, the duo plans to hold a join event on September 5, when they will show off two new devices, named Arrow and Phi.

Both the devices belong to the Lumia range of devices from Nokia, say sources. So Arrow and Phi could just be code names and the devices may come out with different names in line with the nomenclature system of Lumia.

According to emerging information, both devices will head to AT&T network. The carrier is expected to project Phi as a hero device with befitting price and offers.

The device is expected to feature curved glass display and polycarbonate body to succeed Lumia 800 and 900.

Arrow is reportedly heading to the mid-range smartphone market and possibly will appear on T-Mobile network also. Verizon also plans to run this device on its network with a different name – Atlas.
