Here’s good news for all those who love playing the Plants vs. Zombies game from PopCap Games. The developer has announced it is planning to roll out a sequel to the existing version of the game and promises more plants and more zombies.

One of the most popular video games to date, the Plants vs. Zombies demands players to take the help of the plants to swipe out the nasty Zombies who come in different shapes, sizes and with different powers.

The objective of the game is to prevent the zombie mob from invading your home by growing plants with different abilities.

The new version of the game, which is expected to hit the market in the late spring 2013, will bring loads of new features and situations, not to mention more powerful zombies.

The new iteration of the game will feature new settings to please the more than a million fans of the game all over the world.

Since spring makes plants weak, they will need real help from you to fight and survive the Zombies. So in short, the new version needs more participation and tactics from the gamers.

Though PopCap Games may be happy to announce the upcoming new version of the game, there are wide-spread complaints from gaming fans that the existing game app on iOS needs an urgent upgrade so that it gives a better gaming experience.
