If you have been running around the SIII and its siblings, here’s something to look at. The Galaxy family will most likely get its newest member, Galaxy S2 Plus very soon, and it come featuring a whopping 4.5 inch screen.
The image has just sneaked out and has begun being part of all that hot talk in the tech world.
There are a lot of comments pouring in, and they signal that this phone will be getting so much of users owing to the virtues like a lower price tag and some incredible specs.
But there are, indeed, people who think that the design and quality of this phone will be seriously affecting its sales in a negative way.
As far as the tech specs are concerned, it will have an 8.0 megapixel camera, 4.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and will be running on the ICS version of Android.
Multitasking will be at its peak with the device getting powered up most probably by a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos CPU. We hear the phone will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in Barcelona at the end of February next year.
The current version of Galaxy S2 has a 1.2 GHz Exynos processor. It will not be the first Plus version by Samsung. The Korean handset maker recently launched Galaxy S Plus, an upgraded edition of Galaxy S.
The specs of the phone are not at all impressive when we compare with high end smartphones.
But the price tag of this phone is expected to be worthy of a try, and the phone could be the table-turner for Samsung in the low-end and mid-end markets as well.
