Two brand new rugged tablets from Motion Computing have joined the tablet family, with commendable strength to survive hard times physically.

Dubbed C5t and F5t, both the tablet devices run on the Windows 7 platform and feature a 10.4-inch display. The display which features AFFS+ LED Backlight Display Technology supports touch inputs as well as stylus inputs and has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The display comes with Gorilla Glass protection to avoid scratches.

Among the duo, F5t can be used outdoors as its display offers a View Anywhere optional display which helps in easy viewing even in direct sun light. The batteries of these rugged tablets are hot-swappable.

C5t and F5t are designed and built to comply with the IP54 and MIL_STD-810G standards which make them excellent machines when it comes to resisting shock, extreme heat and cold.

To keep them stronger, Motion Computing has stuffed in magnesium alloy internal frames and Ealstomer overmolding.

Both the machines provide similar processing power options like Ivy Bridge Core i3, i5 or i7 vPro CPUs with unlisted clock speeds. Users can opt either for 2 GB RAM devices or for 4 GB RAM devices, while storage options range from 64 GB to 128 GB SSD. Both machines have integrated digital cam, web cam RFID reader and a barcode scanner and support a set of optional accessories.

However, they  are very expensive with prices starting at $2,236.
