All companies try their level best to keep the news about upcoming products away from public gaze. Sony is no exception. That’s why when we spot its product in the wild, we bring it to you.

Late last month, many rumors emerged in the tech world about a new product from Sony. Some even had detailed specs and pictures of the new mobile the company was planning to introduce. The device reportedly had a model name of LT30.

Though some suggested that the device was codenamed ‘Mint’ in Sony circles, no one could confirm what it would be called once it hits the market.

However, newly available information suggests that the device will be named as Xperia T when it hits the market. The clue about the commercial name of the device came from a newly leaked DLNA certificate for a Sony device with a model name LT30. As per the certificate, the device has got the green light from DLNA.

Xperia T or Mint will sport a 720p display. To keep things running, it has a dual-core, 1.5 GHz processor chip.

The special thing about the phone is its rear camera which is rumored to have a 13 megapixel sensor. However, the rig is still on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich platform

There are rumors that the phone may be launched at the Sony event before IFA 2012 in Berlin.
