Motorola DROID RAZR HD International Version Spotted in the Wild

August 2, 2012, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The DROID RAZR HD is again hitting the headlines. But this time, its in the form of leaked pictures. They feature, what appears to be, an international version of the device.

The images actually originate from the xda-developers forum where a user has posted the pictures of a device called DROID HD. However, later it turned out that the camera and flash layout of the device in the picture resemble that of DROID RAZR HD as per the June leak.

The latest leak also shows the screen of the device with Vodafone as the carrier and XT925 as its model number. This is another interesting coincidence. When we spotted the DROID RAZR HD at the FCC, it had XT926 as its model number.

This, apart from the name of the European carrier, hints that the device in the picture actually is an international version of the device probably named just RAZR HD for the global markets.

Though the informer does not divulge on any other detail of the device, it is expected to carry an 8 megapixel cam, and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The leak is very significant for Moto fans who have been eagerly waiting to see the real face of the DROID RAZR HD. In the past, international versions of the DROID devices used to be just like their US counterparts on the Verizon network. So let’s consider the latest leak as an unofficial preview.
