Lenovo Windows 8 ThinkPad Tablet Spotted at FCC
Well, they are on the way to see the light of the day. We are talking about the Windows 8 tablets and we have found one at the FCC. The rig to pop up at the Federal Communications Commission is the Windows 8 ThinkPad tablet from Lenovo.
The spotting is an obvious pointer to the upcoming flood of Windows 8 machines as the software development giant Microsoft is going to introduce the latest version of its platform Windows 8 on October 26.
Earlier, gadget lovers, who had visited the Computex Expo that concluded in June, had a chance handle this upcoming device.
This prior hands-on experience has helped us in identifying the rig at the FCC. The device design exactly matches the available unofficial images of the device. Moreover, the diagram also shows a new Windows logo on the lower right corner.
The Windows 8 tab form Lenovo is expected to feature a 10.1 inch 1366X768 display, a Clover Trail chip from Intel, an 8 MP camera on the rear and a 2 MP camera on the front.
However, it is not the first Windows 8 device to be spotted at FCC. A brand new Windows 8 tablet from Asus –Asus Tablet810 – was spotted at the FCC a couple of days ago which makes Lenovo ThinkPad second in the line.
Now get ready for the flood of Windows 8 devices.
